Gone are the days where a writer would have to submit a book. Then if they were lucky enough to be selected, go along with changes the editors, hired by the large corporation, would make in an attempt to make as much money as possible. The writer would give up control of what they wrote and receive only a small percentage of the sales.
While writers have far more options today most of the steps remain the same. The manuscript will still have to be edited, often several times. Artwork has to be created, then the layout, ISBN number and copyright, and don’t forget marketing! Just because a book is available doesn’t mean anyone is going to buy it.
A lot goes into the making a successful book. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. You can easily wind up spending a lot of time and money and wind up with a poor product that reflects poorly on you. If you want to look professional you have to hire professionals. Today the publishing industry is like the wild west with snake oil salesman around every corner of the internet. At Sundance Publishing we use only professionals and offer a hybrid approach to publishing with flexible overhead and royalties. We’re ready to work with, and for you.
If you’re ready to take the next step let’s talk.
